Career Tip for January 2002:

Remember one of the secrets to success (and there are many) is to keep moving, career wise as well as in terms of training. While it is correct to find a career path that can bring you stability, it is advisable to make yourself marketable. Do not limit yourself to any single field - totally, because there is no such field/job that allows you to function exclusively without skills from other disciplines. Some such universal skills are Computer Literacy, Website Design, E-Commerce and Environmental Studies.

For all you young people who are at home, having just completed CXC, GCE and other exams, here is a list of websites that you can visit if you need information to make a decision as what you want to do next:

  • Post Resumes to be viewed by potential employers

  • Search and apply for job vacancies

  • Research the labour market
